5 years latter...

Man I can't believe we've been home owners for five years now. I defiantly thought we would have gotten more done on the house then we have but I feel like for two people who are only learning as we go, we have done some pretty big thing's.

the NEWEST of that list is the window's

TADA!!!

(the last window coming out)

An awesome guy Justin works with at the deserter job (Steve) helped us out a ton.
he's led paint certified so him helping us take all the windows out saved us 700.00 smackers.
Can I just say a house with no windows is a little weird... you don't feel very safe which is crazy that something so fragile as glass can. it was nice to have the breeze just flow threw the house tho.

Justin and Erik scraping the left over old caulk off the frame.

The back of the house BEFORE...
I wasn't to great at getting pictures but this was maybe a week before we took them out. *note storm window's were still on. (yes that is how we had a "screen" on the bathroom window, lame I know)

The back AFTER!

These window's are the same size so it could count as before and after right ..?

the Top is Bristol's room with the old window's in. The bottom is our room with the window's out.

And of course I forgot to take a new Before for the front of the house so I dug these beauty's out :)
what the house looked like when we bought it ^

What the house looked like a year later... (hadn't done much)^

what the house looks like now, and apparently my camera has gotten just as good. lol
I really can't believe the difference! it looks like we've done a lot but the yard is easy and past that it's just new window's and door's.

I'm loving it though, the window's don't have cob webs in-between the pains, they are clean, I can open anyone I want and the moths can't fly in and the ac can actually make the house cold it's so so so so so soooo nice!
we still need to trim the sides and tops of them all, so there will be another picture of the finished, finished window's but most likely save that for the year in review.
 yay
