Christ in our lives

It's so crazy that this year we have been blessed with the addition of not one but two new Christ pictures added to our house hold.
It's like the lord knew we needed to have MORE reminders of keeping our house more spiritual and that we need to be A Lot more Christ like.

I think we get way to caught up in the day to day stuff. some where along the way I've noticed that I'm light has become smaller and smaller. If I ever wanted to go back in time it would only be because when i was a junior in high school. I had such a great spirit and I would even tell people not to swear around me. I've become so lax and picked up bad habits scene then. :(

the crazy thing about being in the YSA ward is that it's all about ''getting back to basics'', Justin isn't to found of the wards new years theme but it's what we need.

when i look back at the meeting's we had with our YSA stake president when we were getting married, i think what happened to us.

We had set goals with him and gone over where we were going to be banking out of (so if we were at two different banks we could get all that stuff figured out) getting past small things, etc...
he said they could tell you from the time they were married till then who prayed what day in there couples prayer. we started that and I don't even know when we stopped praying together... not a good excuse we just need to be better. Just like not praying during meals anymore, I keep thinking when we have a bigger kitchen and can actually sit at the table (which i would love, i miss that so much) that will just fix that problem. NOT

One thing we have never started is reading scriptures together, I wish we had when we first got married but.... I never grew up taking time as a family reading them, I guess you could count the times we did do fhe. lol still not a good excuse.

Sunday we had a combined lesson on spiritual crocodiles, it was perfect!!!
this is just what i needed to hear.
It's crazy that if we don't have everything sharp and in tune we miss important things and put our self in danger ! I thought I would share the video and hope that if it's something that could help someone else that it would be available, pay it forward right!!!
