spiritual feasting

so earlier this week my visiting teachers came over :) they talked about how it's crazy that when your older it's easier to apply things from church in to our lives. they talked about how we can relate our spirits to food, and church, reading our scriptures, praying, and so on.... to the thing that keeps it fresh. it was a different analogy but it works.
with out church or spiritual teachings our spirit/food gets moldy. and a moldy spirit (a moldy anything doesn't sound good anyways) just makes me want to work towards keeping it off my spirit for good.

secondly today was stake conference for our ysa stake. brother Kenny talked about how nice a back massage is and how by coming to church we can get are spiral back massages. he goes on by saying some people choose to cut there "massages" short by only coming to sacrament, but what they don't know is that there is great "messages" waiting in Sunday school and priesthood /RS . it really gives me a more open perspective to want to keep an open mind at church, and not use Bristol as a distraction. i need to be paying closer attention and getting a great " 3hr Massage" instead of just going through the motions.

I'm so grateful for the opportunities we are given and for the chances we have to learn and be better children of god. :) have a great Sunday
