so for the whole 9 months i was prego i felt like i could do just about anything i could do before with no problem other then bending over to tie my shoes. so this all started Saturday evening when Justin and I were throwing tie downs up in the tree in our back yard and pulling out the dead branches, and i was pulling on branches well Justin was standing on the trampoline trimming them. when i noticed very small contractions and we decided to go walk the track at suu about this time it was 11pm .
we walked and i timed everything for an hour and by the time we hit an hour they had slowed down. we went home and i found out that i was leaking but it wasn't a ton and i wanted to labor at home for as long as possible any way. we went to bed and i got a good nights sleep other than waking up a few times from some hard contractions. the next day i got up at 7 and ate breakfast, jumped in the shower and then sat on my yoga ball. i had only done 3 bounces when i felt a few gushes. lucky for me i had on protection :) and i went and told Justin my water broke and he got out of bed and we headed to the hospital.

after hanging out watching nascar for 12 hrs and only getting to 6 cm according to the new nurse (the other one said i was at 8c m before shift change) and pain was now unbearable and i had gotten pain meds in my iv twice. doctor gatherum came in and said i was swelling down there and here head was getting stuck so we were going to get a c-section. i really didn't want an epidural because of the cost but after not being dilated enough and my body trying to push her out i was so grateful for the spinal. i want to note i do not do good with pain medication other then over the counter stuff considering i ended up throwing up like 12 times. i feel like that's a lot considering i had only eaten breakfast in that 24 hour period. anyways they got me all drugged up and Justin came in to sit by me and in no time we had a baby. Justin must have got something in his eyes when they lifted her up, i told him to go see her well they checked her. he wrapped her up and brought her over for me to see :) and we both fell in love.
she was 5oz bigger then me when i was born which was much bigger then her dad even though he was 3 weeks late lol.
-she did pretty good the first day with breastfeeding and it's gone straight down hill since, so I've been pumping and she's been getting it in a bottle.
-she opens her eyes A LOT (we've been told baby's her age usually don't do that as much as her)
- she will be two weeks tomorrow and she's already at almost 4 oz a bottle.
at her first Dr's appointment she was 8.1 and i don't think she will have had a problem getting back to birth weight if not surpassing it by Mondays appointment :)
i can say even though she cries a lot and is gassy we sure do love her, and can't wait for her to get a little bigger so we can play with her in between the eating and napping :) i am a little bummed to be going back to work Monday just because i would love to sleep for a week, but it will be nice to have a schedule again. Just as long as she doesn't scare Kasey and Grandma off in the first week

Oh my goodness! She is an absolute beauty! I love that she and Abby were the same birth weight. C Sections suck in some ways but are nice in others :) I can't believe you are already getting back to work! I'm glad you are feeling well enough to do so even though it's gotta be so hard! Enjoy this sweet stage while it lasts. It doesn't last long! You will miss it someday! Congrats again!!!!! SO happy for you!
