one of the last "BIG" things we have been really looking into was a diaper bag. I feel like this item is a pretty big deal considering you have to trust it to carry all the essentials for when your out but also (in our case) so the "daycare" / my mom and Kasey have plenty of diapers etc...
first we were looking into a daddy friendly bag so that Justin felt like he could take her out and not feel like he was carrying my purse. then i started looking at the types that were showing up at church (before we got to the singles ward) with all the spring baby's that were born. i decided i would really like a backpack type so that i could carry her and not worry about it falling off my shoulder like some of the lady's in our married ward were doing.
now to find one in a print we both liked that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
after looking around it had come down to a petunia pickle bottom boxy and a ju ju be bff. there were pros and cons on both bags, it was tuff. I started looking on ksl, craigslist and eBay daily till we happened upon the ju ju be in royle envy. there was one i was watching that ended up going for over a hundred bucks. right before that bag was over another showed up for a starting bid of 50bucks or a buy it now for 80. within Min's of finding it there was 21 watchers on it and then a few hours later it was sold. :(
after having a terrible day yesterday i got home and found this!
i watched a few YouTube videos on how people packed their bff bags, which really opened my eyes.
when we got it yesterday we thought it was small but no i take that back, you just have to know how to pack a diaper bag :) after checking out a few videos i came up with what we might try and so far i think it's going to turn out awesome !!
also Justin surprised me a while back when he bought her an outfit! it's pretty stinking cute :)
this last weekend was the cox reunion and my grandma had a baby shower for the three of us having baby's this summer. we got some super cute clothes. and my mom loaded me up with diapers, wipes, a purse rattle, baby hangers and baby spoons and my lil sister added boogie wipes lol they're cute.
well we have 6 weeks to get it together but this is what Bristol's room is looking like... for the most part we are ready just a few more Lil things and putting up/ in some shelves and some curtains for the little windows and things should fall into place maybe a dresser :)
don't mind the random coke bottles and walking stick lol and I'm still not sure what to do with my glass dolls? we'll figure it out though :)
