TA DA... this is our little bathroom for the last week in a half it's been trying to turn it's self in to a waiting pool. OK OK so the toy that was flushed came out but caused us more problems!!! the house we live in is on one of the streets that are lined with trees. it's really pretty in the summer other than the birds leaving things on our car we like the trees. come to find out our pipes are from the 50's so guess what there made of.......... pressed tar paper, also the trees if you can imagine are pretty big.
come to find out after a week of floods and buying a wet dry vac so we wouldn't have to frantically mop 2 or 3 times a day that the tree roots have grown in to the pipe. well the land lords and us put every thing you can imagine down the drains trying to get the roots to back off but no such luck.
this last weekend our land lord Jeff put sulfuric acid down hoping to cure it, and we got to live in a hotel...It sucked! living in a hotel in the same city as your house is really not fun no food, crappy bed and the only form of entertainment was the puppy and not the way you would think is fun! making sure she remembered that she has to go potty in the potty box.
we got to come home Sunday night and try and get things cleaned up with out using the drains which is hard. we're eating with paper plates and bowls because we can't run the dish washer. a few good things we can wash clothes but it has to be cold water on small for the least amount of time the washer does. showers in the morning have to be as fast as you can go! and we don't have to wait till work or run down the street to the gas station to use the potty any more!
NOW THE BEST PART.. today the tree thats in the pipe got cut down. the land lord said there replacing the pipe and it should be done tomorrow night!!!! I just feel bad because last summer they just about finished the front yard and now they have to dig part of it up:( but at least there will be NO more floods and we will be able to take a nice long shower after work :) and we'll be able to clean our clothes in less loads :)

I am glad they got that fixed. We were thinking you would be moving soon.
I know your a good swimmer K. but in your bathroom is ridiculous. LoL
